hackTAU - The day after
The events of October 7 changed reality as we knew it. We face many challenges, and answering them requires in-depth, creative, ground-breaking and interdisciplinary thinking. The academy as a home for a community of young people who think and seek knowledge, whose strength is in meeting people and ideas and in free and critical thinking - is the place to do this.
Come and participate in hackTAU hackathon - the day after - to dream, initiate and shape the day after the war.
At the hackathon, you will be divided into think tanks consisting of interdisciplinary groups of young people and students from all faculties and academic institutions in Israel, under the guidance of experts from academia and the field who will focus on the following challenges:
Housing, housing and community, education, agriculture, mental health, Jewish-Arab partnership, spirit.
Each group will investigate in depth the problem in its area, study the needs of the area and propose an effective solution to this issue. At the end of the hackathon, the groups will present their products, and the selected projects will be connected to relevant executive bodies in order to ensure the success of the project.
hackTAU The day after emerged as an independent initiative of students from the many academic institutions in Israel and under their leadership, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Center at Tel Aviv University.
Please note - 12th-13th of December the library will be open for the hackathon participants only.
